I designed this poster for DJ hum hum at Fadensonnen in Baltimore, drawing from the tactile and improvisational qualities of sound and nightlife. I layered loose, hand-drawn marks with soft airbrushed color to create a composition that feels spontaneous and atmospheric, echoing the fluid, shifting energy of a live set.
The typography is integrated into the image rather than sitting on top of it, moving vertically and interacting with the composition in a way that feels embedded and slightly obscured. I kept the structure minimal, allowing texture, color, and gesture to carry the energy of the piece while maintaining just enough clarity for the event details to come through.
