The Writing on the Wall / American Prison Writing Archive
I worked on The Writing on the Wall with the Prison Writing Project, developing large-scale compositions that translate written material into an immersive spatial experience. I organized hundreds of texts, excerpts, and documents into dense, grid-based layouts that extend across walls, floors, and architectural surfaces, allowing visitors to move through and engage with the writing physically.
The design prioritizes accumulation and proximity, bringing together many voices without flattening them into a single narrative.
